The Buried Truth

Before turning to crime fiction, Jeremy Malloy spent years writing poetry - seven self-published collections released over a decade ago. But it's true crime that shaped what he writes now: a long-standing fascination with documentaries and reality TV eventually became the seed for his debut novel, The Buried Truth.

Asked to describe his own writing style, he doesn't dress it up: “Most likely the style of a five-year-old — but it's mine.” What he wants most is for readers to feel connected to his characters, and to close the book wanting more.
